Catalyst 9600: Getting 1K Watt Output from 2K Watt Power Supplies

Purchased 3x C9600-PWR-2KWAC for a new Cisco Catalyst 9606 chassis switch. Noticed my C9600-LC-48YL was not getting power, upon inspection my power supplies are only putting out 1K watts each which is under powering the switch. Any suggestions?

Since you are using the combined mode that is expected.

Hello Balaji,

I am running version 17.06.04.

I think I may have figured out the issue, I think we ordered the wrong type of power cables which are not providing enough power and are limiting the C9600-PWR-2KWAC power supplies to only 1000 Watts output.

We simply need to order Cisco C14 to C15 power cables to get full power output and then most likely put the power supplies in redundant mode.
