Came across this curious "sh int status" results on a non-stacked Cisco WS-C3850-12XS switch. This is an OT switch and it would be nice to know how to get it so that the gi ports read 1/0/1-24. I was thinking in global configuration mode. Issue the command switch current-stack-member-number renumber new-stack-member-number, but wanted some validation if that would work. No issues aside from the WTH factor. TIA!

if "switch 1 provision WS-C3850-12XS" does not work, you may want to try
no switch 1 provision
and reboot.

Thank you...it'll be a while before I can attempt to reboot the switch. But I just wanted to see what other more knowledgeable people would suggest.

One more thing. If the switch was never in a stack before and is behaving like this, it maybe a bug in the OS you are running. So, if the above suggestions don't fix it, an upgrade may do.
