Cisco 2650 12.4 or 12.3 IOS max?

I purchased 2 Cisco2650 (non MX version) from Ebay and to my surprise has IOS 12.4 (12) installed on both. I thought only the XM versions of 2600 series could support 12.4 and non-MX 12.3.

Is the Cisco2650 actually 2650MX (It does not show/say MX anywhere on the device, just Cisco2650).

For a true 2650 router 12.3.26 was the last version  that was released .  A show version will tell you if its a XM or not otherwise they have the wrong IOS on it .

Thats interesting, When I get home I will run and see. Thank you.

I didn't even know it would allow you to put 12.4 on a device that maxes out at 12.3. Do your forsee any issues of keeping it this way?
