Cisco 2960X Question

Hi Everyone

I wanted to know is there a chart someone on Cisco that I can look at to tell me what is the difference between these 2 switches that I have. They both are 2960X series, they both are 48 ports but they have different numbers. One is a LPD-L and the other is a FPS-L, I want to know what these letters mean because I would like to standardize what we have so the next time I order one I tell the vendor the exact model number.

Eric

LPD can be broken down as:

P stands for PoE with 370w PoE allowance

D stands for SFP/SFP+ support

FPS can be broken down as

FP means Full PoE power.  This can only be found in 48-port switches.  This means there is a power supply which supply 750w PoE.

S means SFP only support

It has to do with POE.  One is Low Power 370w the Other is Full Power 740w.

What you just explained is what I want to know, is there a chart that will show you what these letters mean.

Like how I broke the letters down? No.
If you need them, TAC should be able to provide them.

Yes

I like how you explained what each letter stands for and thanks alot
