Hi team,

Currently i am planning to upgrade the IOS version 15.0(2)SE12 in 3560 switch.i have loaded the IOS in the flash.

Right now i can see free space only 3MB out 32 MB after loaded the new IOS in the flash.

Can i good to proceed upgrade in the switch  with 3MB free memory?

Hi there,

Unless you are planning on saving logs and numerous config backups to flash, 3MB should be enough headroom to operate.

Make sure you delete any old/ unused images off the flash once rebooted successfully.

cheers,

Seb.

Sure Seb thanks for the input

Hi,

If you are not saving any logs etc. then it is ok. But I am recommended to make a copy of old running IOS (in case you need an emergency) and delete from the Switch Flash memory.

Make sure you have to configure Boot options correctly.
