Cisco 3850 Switch Prompt Recovery using XMODEM

HI,

I am having a Cisco 3850 Switch with Switch Prompt: and I am trying to get it out of this by using xmodem.

I am using BAUD rate 115200 and I am getting the following output when I give command "copy xmodem: flash:imagename

switch: flash_init
Initializing Flash...
...The flash is already initialized.

switch: copy xmodem: flash:cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.05.01a.SPA.bin
Begin the Xmodem or Xmodem-1K transfer now...

Starting xmodem transfer. Press Ctrl+C to cancel.
Transferring cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.05.01a.SPA.bin...

flash:cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.05.01a.SPA.bin: no such device

any suggestion what could be the reason, I am not able to do it.

Hi,

Did you try sending the file/image from your laptop/pc to the emulator?
