Hi,
I am about to purchase this router but would like to confirm that this model (881 router with Advanced IP Services) supports sub-interfaces. Can you reply with a screenshot or some other form of output showing the device version and the sub-interfaces? I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.

Hi,
The link you posted has examples for several routers in the 800 series but not the 881. The Cisco 881 router has only one (1) WAN interface. I would like to know if this WAN interface can be sub-interfaced. If you own a 881 router, can you post the show version output along with the sub-interface configuration. If not, do you know where I can get confirmation of whether or not the WAN interface can be sub-interfaced.
PS: I sent an email to tac@cisco.com last Friday but I they have not yet responded.
Thanks.

Sub interfaces are mapped to vlans, so you have to create the vlans first and then you may create the corresponding sub interface.
vlan 30
interface fa4.30
