Cisco C9200L-24P-4X not showing mac-adresses on AP port

I'm having issues on a switchport where an 2702I access-point is located. I can see CDP from the AP but no mac-adresses. The AP is powered via PoE from the switch.

The AP does have an IP address but are not visible on the WLC.

I find it very odd that I'm able to see CDP from the AP but not mac-address since CDP is a layer 2 protocol.

The AP is located on port Gi1/0/17. See attached images.

That looks bizzard : is this issue only with one AP, or any AP ?

can you post below information :

show run interface Gig1/0/17

show interface Gig1/0/17

the AP does have an IP address but are not visible on the WLC.

Are you able to ping that IP address ?

I've only seen this issue on a single AP.

See attached images.

I'm not able to ping the IP.

From "sh int gi 1/0/17" it shows many unknown protocol drops which is actively increasing. Maybe some bug on the software on AP?

Looks for me some negotiation issue, not sure how you got the IP address, are you able to see arp table with that IP, if possible console AP and check ?

I'm able to see an ARP entry for the IP address however it belongs to a different IP. I'm afraid the 'faulty' AP is somehow stuck with the IP.

The 'faulty' AP is at a very remote location and I'm therefore unable to console into the AP.
