HI,
I have a customer switch that requires the configuration to be reset back to factory defaults but I'm getting a message,
Cisco Catalyst 3640 48 POE 4 x1G switch
File "flash:nvram_config" not deleted -- read only file system,
I've not come across this before so I would need a step by step support
output from switch

switch: delete flash:nvram_config
Are you sure you want to delete "flash:nvram_config" (y/n)?y
File "flash:nvram_config" not deleted -- read only file system

Let the switch boot naturally and then in enable mode, issue the command "wr erase" and this will factory default the appliance.

switch has booted up,
After powering up the cisco switch I'm faced with security banner and username to login,,
so pretty much in the same situation, is there a way to remove the flash files from read only to actually deleting them.
Thanks
