I HAVE SWITCH which is in rommon mode i can't do anything please help me
tell me how to upload ios through rommon mode
or which is the best way to upload ios fast still my switch 6509 in rommon mode i can,t do anything
and how to boot it still not image in the dir bootflash:
please help me urgent thanks.

@amikat i have 512 mb disk i put in disk1: on sup i m now in rommon mode when i type dir disk1:
rommon 6 > dir bootdisk1:
bad device name (device not supported)
usage: dir <device>
rommon 7 > dir disk1:
device does not contain a valid magic number
dir: cannot open device "disk1:"
rommon 8 >
what i can do

Hi,
the only way to proceed with this CF is to re-format first. To my knowledge Sup720 would recognize both FAT12 and FAT16 formats. The main issue here is that only Cisco approved CFs would work, lots of troubles were experienced with others. If I remember correctly the days I worked with Sup720 those manufactred by SanDisk were OK.
The other way to progress is to get the CF with an image from other Sup720 and copy to bootflash.

Hi,
To my knowledge Sup720 does not support xmodem recovery procedure. In my view the only chance for you is to load the image via CF card if ther is none in the bootflash.
