Hello,
I have two Catalyst 9500-48Y4C with IOSXE Version 16.11.1. According to Release Notes Stackwise-Virtual should be supported.
But I even cannot run the commands to enable it ("stackwise-virtual").
At the moment the license is not activated yet and still in EVALUATION state.
Could this be the problem? Will it be possible to enable stackwise-virtual with an activated license? Or do I have to update to 16.12.1. ?
Thanks for help
Stefan

Rwesel,
Stackwise Virtual requires DNA-Advantage licensing
. Table 1 & Table 2 Depending on your platform but the information is the same.

Hi,
Still 6th April 2020 document also not included 9500-48Y4C-A is not showing virtual stack wise.
Is there any update on this for virtual stack wise. Or can you please suggest another recommended solution instead of this virtual stackwise.
Regards

Depends on the firmware loaded.
Please read Configuring Cisco StackWise Virtual (IOS-XE version 16.12.X) and go to the Cisco StackWise Virtual on Cisco Catalyst 9500 Series Switches section.

Thank You for your prompt response. I am going to use 40G for stackwise. Can Use 10G for dual active connection.
