Does cisco catalyst 9500-48y4c support stack wise virtual?

If it dose not support ,Which solution cisco recommend?

It does but you don't want to enable it yet.

I am mistaken.  Stackwise Virtual is only supported on the "C9500-12Q, C9500-16X, C9500-24Q, C9500-40X".  

I am not sure if 48Y support is in the roadmap or not.  You may need to ask your Cisco SE/AM for this.

I think it support in future software but I would like to know if it does not support we have another way or not ?

Cisco Catalyst 9500-48Y4C does not support StackWise virtual at the moment. You might to wait until IOS-XE 16.10.1 to see this feature available on this platform.

Starting with this release (16.8.x), the feature is also supported on the following models of the Cisco Catalyst 9500 Series Switches:

* C9500-24Q
* C9500-12Q
* C9500-40X
* C9500-16X

Don't rush them.  Something that is "stable" is a lot better than something that is buggy (and keeps you up all night) like CSCvi92251, CSCvi71507, CSCvj73842, and much, much more.

Customer have plan to purchase on next month but they worry about in this feature.

It might* be available on the second half of november this year. Please proceed with caution and at your own discretion. Keep in mind that this will be the first release supporting the feature on that specific platform.

Because of the EOL announcement of catalyst 4500X switch, we want to replace it  with C9500-48Y4C-A in the our new LOM.

We just want to use VSS and some simple routing  features.

Can I use this switch without DNA center for above features?

Do the selected license support VSS?

Stackwise Virtual (vss we wont talk about the difference here) Required DNA-Advantage Licensing. Your sku c9500-48Y4C-A will cover that. 

Yes you can use this device with out DNAC, this is just the new licensing model.
