Cisco Switches Recommendation w/o License Subscription

I want to ask for some recommendations for affordable core and access switches that don't need a license subscription.

As far as I know all Catalyst "core" switches now require DNA subscription license with purchase.

For access you can look at the Catalyst 1000 Series switches which are still IOS based without smart licensing or DNA licensing.

Possibly Cisco's SMB switches don't have subscription licensing.  They also are affordable.  You would need to verify they meet your switching requirements.

I wouldn't call any of those switches core switches but it really depends what your requirement is.
