The VTP revision number increase by 1 while adding or deleting a VLAN. My question is , is there a limit to the configuration revision number. I mean can the revision number can be goes to 10 digit number or even bigger.

Hi Santosh,
The VTP configuration value can go high upto 2^32=4294967296. After reaching this value it will recycle back to 0.
I don't think any switch will ever reach upto this VTP value.

Hi
It's a 32-bit number, so 4 million something. I don't know what happends when it gets to that number, and I don't have the time to find out :)
