Hi All:
We have an Internet gateway which serve many European Customers.
Model: WS-C3750G-24TS-1U
IOS: c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-55.SE10.bin
We have been observing HIGH CPU utilization up to 90 to 100% on the box due to a specific process “ARP Input” and the box has also been rebooted due to bus error 0x37B4.
Challenges:
1. We are not able to run Cisco TAC due to device being EOS by Cisco.
2. Unable to check for any possible issues on Cisco CLI analyser as our Cisco ID doesn’t have sufficient entitlement.
3. The BOX cannot be replaced / Upgrade at this point of time.
I understand, since the box is EOS, only thing we can do is upgrade the IOS Code with the one suggested on Cisco site. This will work on best efforts basis and permanent fix is not guaranteed.
As we are not able to raise a TAC for any possible recommendation, I am sending out this email in hope if you guys have any suggestion/recommendation to investigate this issue further.
Any response will be deeply appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Yeah. the device is connected to LAN segment and many other Customers.
since the device is already EOS & EOL. we have upgraded the box and this has fixed the issue.

hi All:
since the device was already EOS & EOL.. The only thing we could possibly do was to upgrade the IOS code.. Considering this would still put the business at risk we have upgraded the box to Cisco 3850.
thanks everyone for their inputs.
