I get this message on the brand new ASR1009X I am deploying. Why do I get this error message and why is it specific to the ESP modules?
%CMFP-2-BAD_ID_HW: F1: cman_fp: Failed Identification Test in ASR1000-ESP100-X . The module “serial number” may not be a genuine Cisco product.

Not sure if this help - check the filed notice - ( contact Cisco TAC or partner?)

Unfortunately, it did not. The notice mentions older code that we are running so we may not seeing this, yet. Our problem stems from the ESP modules not being recognized as genuine Cisco parts and our Cisco account team hasn't yet explained why.
