connecting ether-channel in a separate 9300 in stack

i have 4 9300

2 9300 with advantage license set in stack

and 2 9300 with essentials license set in stack

is it possible to set a ether-channel from each two of the switches in the first stack to the two switches in the second stack? like each switch is connected to the other switch with one cable?

or does ether-channel have to be set on the same device to the next device?

You can do any switch for the port-channel

for better resilience  - suggest below :

Stack1 - SW1  -(PO1) STACK 2 - SW1

Stack1 - SW2  -(PO1)  STACK 2 - SW2

As Balaji already noted, you can Etherchannel any stacked switch with another device, which includes stacked switches. Actually, when doing a port channel between switch stacks, normally you try to use different stack members for redundancy. I.e. one stack member fails, you still have connectivity between the stacks.

BTW, when working with a chassis, the same "logic" often applies by using Etherchannel links on different line cards.
