DHCP server issue or network issue?

Lost & Found

Hi Guys,

Had a weird issue earlier, We have DHCP server, Client can't get IP address from DHCP server though it's all wireless connection, all segment connect through that server. From gateway I can ping the DHCP server also upon checking DHCP services is running on the server.

So on wireshark still no response from DHCP server, Status on wifi is connected but still no IP, Tried using different SSID but still  the same.

On Network side, No interface error seen on the network switch same on logs.

Strange is after disable/enabled DCHP network adapter, Clients cant get IP address from DHCP server? Have you encountered this issue what would be the possible cause?

Is it a network issue or Server issue?

Note: We dont have have access on DHCP server to see logs on event viewer.

thank you and regards,

does your AP actually relay the IP address to your DHCP server. and if it is. spin up wiresharp on your dhcp server to see if the dhcp request from the wireless client is actually receiced by it.
