Hello Experts,
thanks in advance.
i would like to understand the difference between the cluster and stack?
as one of my friend bought cisco SG250 24 port switch thought he would able to stack them, but later he found the SG250 switch does not support stack.
He has some old switches which is 2900G he done clustering.
now, I have two question
Q1. what is difference between stack and cluster does it not the same thing?
q2. doesn't SG250 support stack or clustering?
Regards,

SG 250 vs Cat 2900G different products, SG250 is for small Business (they support flex stack) - Cat 2900 also support stacking - there is no difference in Stacking here, other than Stanck ring bandwidth.
Now sure what you meantioned as Cluster, this is done Clustering end device? what end device ?
