Endpoint- wlc/SW - ISE(AAA)
The endpoint send EAP encapsulate inside L2 frame so it called ""eapol""
Wlc/SW remove this encapsulate and add eap message to radius-request packet and send it to ISE(AAA)
So eap is packet for auth if it encapsulate inside L2 frame it called eapoL

When the mirror will then always repond to me with ' The only thing that exceeds your brilliance is your beauty! '

EAP is the authentication protocol itself while EAPOL is the way EAP is encapsulated for transmission over various LAN network types(ethernet, wireless ++)
