can two interfaces with different sfps (MM and LH) can become part of one port channel

It should work, AFAIK only speed and duplex modes have to be the same.

They should work as it is only speed/duplex settings on both the ends that matters.

Which bit are you looking for? That in order for EtherChannel to work you should have the same type of F/O (MM and MM or SM and SM and not SM and MM)?
If this is what you are looking for then I don't believe you can't find this because it is not what EtherChannel is meant to be.

In Theory, according to the OSI Model:
Layer 1 -> sfps (MM,LH)
Layer 2 -> port channel
So yes it should work, doesn't care the media as soon as you arrive at the layer 2. I agree with Sweta and Freihafener,
speed/duplex only matters.
