When I run show users I have 3 users listed. How do I disconnect them. I tried disconnect but that doesn't seem to work. For example, I have a Cisco 3640 running version 12.2(21a). I run the command "show users" Output is:
Line User Host(s) Idle Location
110 tty 110 mike idle 00:59:25 machineb
130 vty 0 mike machineq 01:01:40 172.x.x.x
*131 vty 1 mike idle 00:00:00 172.x.x.x
I tried then running disconnect. but it doesn't work. what is the command to kill those user connections.
Thanks
Mike

Mike
disconnect is for your own sessions. To kill sessions for other users try the clear line command.

Just do a clear of the TTY or VTY line that is in the display , this should knock off the session. "clear line vty xxx" .
