These are the commands I run to copy into my disaster recovery planning documents. Just wondering if there are any other commands I should run or if maybe this is just overkill.

Hi Chris,

Would suggest to take show tech-support of the devices which would have output of multiple commands you have mentioned . Show tech also includes memorry information which is very much useful as a DR document. On stack switch collect the output of show swicth.

Sathvik

Thanks, I can probably just use tech-support to replace most of the commands I run so it would now be like this;

======================================

4000

======================================

copy bootflash:cat4000-i9k91s-mz.122-25.EWA9.bin tftp

copy running-config tftp

sh ip eigrp nei

sh tech-support

======================================

3750

======================================

copy flash:c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-25.SED1/c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-25.SED1.bin tftp

copy running-config tftp

sh ip eigrp nei

sh tech-support

======================================

5520

======================================

copy flash:asa831-k8.bin tftp

copy flash:asdm-631.bin tftp

copy running-config tftp

dir flash:

sh fail

sh tech-support

======================================

2800

======================================

copy flash:c2800nm-ipbase-mz.124-15.T12.bin tftp

copy running-config tftp

sh cdp nei det

sh ip eigrp nei

sh tech-support

======================================

2900

======================================

copy flash:c2900XL-h-mz-112.8-SA1 tftp

copy running-config tftp

sh boot

dir flash:

sh cdp nei

sh cdp nei det

sh ip int bri

sh tech-support

Hi,

Just a quick note. If you have passwords encrypted then the show commands will not show you clear text passwords. Make sure you note it down if you are using multiple different passwords.

Thanks,

Madhu

thats correct Chris, Just a note as Madhu mentioned please make a note of passwords. Show tech will have the output of sh running-config but the passwords will be removed. If you still dont want to make a note of passwords you can go ahead and take a cpoy of show running-config which will have encrypted password.

Type 7 Password can be decrypted by this tool
