Hi All,
Could any one please help !!!
1.what is flash and bootflash
2.can we have both in same L3 switch.
3. why some models have only flash or bootflash and what it the significance of both.

These memory devices are included in the matrix:
DRAM/SDRAM—Memory used to perform the CatOS or IOS system images.
NVRAM—Memory used to store start-up configuration file (nvram:).
OnBoard Flash—Memory used to hold system images for booting (bootdisk: or bootflash: or flash:).
Essentially the difference is just naming convention between flash and bootflash (depending on model).
