I am using 192.168.1.0/24 network for my one of the site
now i my all 254 host has been used.
i am out of ip address
can i use
192.168.0.0/23 subnet
so that my first host ip will be 192.168.0.1/23
pls advise me
may this is silly question but i hev some doubt

Yes, you can use 192.168.0.0/23.
Technically speaking, you may be concerned about a broadcast domain as well.

If you do this just remember you will need to change any each individual computer to get the correct subnet mask. If using dhcp server this task may be a little less time consuming as you can change it there and then reboot or release / renew each pc rather than statically change them.
