help with 4500m router

Hey guys, On the 4500m router it has the old db25 female connector for the console port. Can you guys tell me if this cable will work, it appears to be a db25male to db9 female cable

I don't know if it will work. You can find a console kit on eBay for less money.

yes thats right db25 male to db9 female ,you can use external modem's cable.

The Cisco adapter would be your best bet.

The RJ-45-to-DB-25 female DTE adapter is a kit (part number ACS-DSBUASYN=) containing this adapter from Cisco.

Then use it with the "baby blue" rollover ribbon cable.
