How do I know which C9300-48U device I have from the selections below? (I don't see this data in the "sh ver".)

Hello,

  This specifics there will not be on the show version. You need to rely on some invoice or other doc.

The difference is indeed very small. For example

C9300-48U-E

Catalyst 9300 48-port 1G copper with modular uplinks, UPOE, Network Essentials

C9300-48U-E-UL

Catalyst 9300 48-port 1G copper with modular uplinks, UPOE, Network Advantage

(Compatible with UL1069 Standard*)

Show inventory <<- this will give you products ID 

From this you can check data sheet and know which model you have.

Good idea, but this did not produce the info. I found it by not completing, but initiating a TAC case, then inserting the serial number into the requested field.

I will try guide you to get right model 

That's fine. I found it as discussed in the thread above, by using the TAC portal.
