A/26 subnet is bigger than a /28 so you cannot carve out /26 from a /28 subnet. Hope this helps.

I assume you are trying to find the network address of a /26 network from which a given /28 network was sub netted.
So /26 is xxx.xxx.xxx.0 or xxx.xxx.xxx.64 xxx.xxx.xxx.128 xxx.xxx.xxx.192
So you just round down the last octet your /28 to the next lowest /26 and that is your parent network.
