I believe my Chassis fan tray might be going bad in my 6509 and I am wondering on how to check the status?  Thanks

Thanks, strange, My NMS was showing Fan-tray 1 as "failed" but here it appears to be good.  I assume

"fan-tray 1 fan-fail: OK" means its alright.

Clearly shows it as critical??

This is the state of the chassis fan. It cannot be seen in the "sh env".
