If there is a new cisco switch, other than referring the datasheet of the switch how do i know the speed capacity for the sfp port switch before connecting the sfp transceiver module? From the cli how to check it ?Is there any command for it?

@13jobsp90 hi, in CLI you can only see the port information. because some SFP port supports multiple speeds which depends on the transceiver. for ex. some switches have SFP ports which capable 10G or 1G transceivers. so, i suggest always check the datasheet to get precise speed values.
