I can only ping the default gateway and not the PC's IP

Hi all,

I created two SVIs, vlan 10 with 192.168.10.1 and vlan 20 with 192.168.20.1

In my layer 3 switch, I assigned vlan 10 and vlan 20 to fa0/11 and fa0/23 respectivtly. as switchport mode access.

I also enabled ip routing. In my PC, entered the static ip addresses. Later I found out that, i can only ping the default gateway. and not my PC ip address which is 192.168.10.20 and 192.168.20.20. I am getting RTO.

Please advise. What am I missing out?

Thanks,
Fyaz

Hi,

if you run "show ip arp", can you see the mac and ip of all the devices? Have you checked firewall on PCs?

Thanks

John

Hi Mohamed,

Did you configured the default gateway on the PCs?
