we have several cisco switches. we have NTP setup running on a msfc of a 6500. switches are set to get time from 6500. the show clock command on the switches show the correct time. But when something is put in the log file of the switch, the time is 4 hours ahead. Any ideas?? Thanks

It sounds like it is logging with UTC timestamps instead of the local timezone. Try:
service timestamps log datetime localtime show-timezone

If that was it, then rating the post (with a 5) and using the check mark assignment would be a good way to indicate to people who read the forum that a solution had been provided.
