input error but no crc

Hi,

Can someone explain what could be causing these input errors

WS-C4503 to CBS3020

Cable did test good and re punch connection today

I just found my input errors are cause by Rx-No-Pkt-Buff. I will move the port to a different group and see if this resolved the issue

Hi,

Can you hardcode the interface to Gig with full duplex on both sides of the connection?

Then clear counters and test again.

That does not help for lack of buffer errors, as the OP stated.

can you show the output by the command「show int g2/3 count err」

For thos interested

I was able to match the input errors with Rx-No-Pkt-Buff with the show interface gig 2/3 and the sh int gig 2/3 counters detail. This is when I found out the module was oversubscribe 8:1

Can someone explain how to calculate 2:1 ratio actullay it is for this module
