I have an ISR with and interface that shows up as follows;
GigabitEthernet0/0 is reset, line protocol is down
I cannot get rid of the 'reset' state... actually I'm not quite sure what 'g0/0 is reset' really means, I don't recall having ever seen this statement before. Can someone enlighten me?
thanks

Hi,
The interface status is incorrectly displayed as reset. This is due to an internal cosmetic bug which has been fixed in IOS version 15.0(1)M4 and later.
