I have this log message on a WS-C3850-48P running 03.03.04SE
%IOSXE-3-PLATFORM: STANDBY:2 process kernel: ERROR L2C_TADX_INT(0)[L2DSBE]: Data Single-Bit Error
%IOSXE-3-PLATFORM: STANDBY:2 process kernel: ERROR CVMX_L2C_ERR_TDT: 0x4230000000185002
Any ideas ?
Thanks

Consulelo,
The logs are informative. They says that the kernel has experienced a problem and the logs
are about where in the memory has this error occurred. Since it has happened only once, it
seems minor. If you see these errors popping constantly, that would be considered as a
hardware failure and in that case proceed with hardware replacement.

Two 3850 in stack = problems !
Cisco Catalyst 3850-24P 03.06.03SE
Cisco Catalyst 3850-12S 03.06.03SE
We have approx. the same errors in log with 2 switches in stack = 3850-24T + 3850-12S

If we reload this switches as standalone (not in stack) - we don't see errors in logs.
Can you advise solution ?
Thanks

Hi dear
you need some structure in stack , before any solution becarfule about switches, shutdown all switches from power.
step 1 : first 2 switch make stack together. ( with same IOS , ...)
step 2 : if any thinks is normal added next switch , until the big problem happen again .
step 3: remove last switch and try for reboot all switch , if condition is normal , plz make text from last switches have a problem by ( show run ) and upload here

Hi All,
Is there any Cisco bug filed / any Cisco documentation on these messages?
Thanks.

I have this problem with a stack of 5. Member #2 is having this error. Running version 7.3.5E. Switch seems to operating normal. What can be not normal about this error?

I also have received this error but we are running IOS Version 03.06.04.E on a WS-C3850-48P (Not stacked). I have only seen the error 1 time. I will be monitoring it also. Are there any bugs logged on this error yet?
