Hi Friends,
I would like to understand and vistualise a possible scenario where HSRP is enabled on a BVI interface.Can anybody please give me the topology or any pointer with an example.

I do not know of anyone who has done HSRP enabled on a BVI so have no examples. If you are using BVI I assume that you are bridging at least two interfaces on the router. If you are using HSRP you have at least two routers with interfaces in the same broadcast domain (same VLAN). So the topology would be at least two routers with at least one having at least two interfaces being bridged via BVI connected to one or more switches on a common VLAN.
If this is a theoretical question or a lab exercise it could be very interesting. If it is for a live environment I would question why you need to bridge router interfaces using BVI.
