As the inerface showing the method as TFTP can any one tell how to change this method what is the command for the same.

Hi,

It should be compatible. Is the router seeing the sfp? What is the output of the "show interface GigabitEthernet0/0/2" what is connected at the other end of the link?

Thanks

John

Hi ,

we are trying to connect Laptop on this port for testing purpose. But interface is not coming up.

Below is the output:-

GigabitEthernet0/0/2 is down, line protocol is down

Full Duplex, 1000Mbps, link type is auto, media type is unknown media type

Hi,

Try adding the command "media-type sfp" to the port and try connecting that port to a switch or use a crossover cable to the laptop

Thanks

John

Won't work because the SFP module is NOT Cisco-branded and flashed the wrong way.
