Issue with HWIC-4ESW in Cisco 2821

I have a Cisco 2821 running Version 12.4(3b)

We inserted the HWIC-4ESW and copied the config over from an identical router (same model, same card type, etc.).  I'm not seeing the ethernet ports though!  when i do a "show ip int br" all I can see is the two gig ports.  I've tried reseating the card and reloading a few times.  When I do a show inventory, I see the card listed.  Help!

  Do they show up when you issue "show int status "  ?    Wouldn't think it would need T train. these switchcards have been around since the 12.2T era  so all the functionality  should be in any later mainline versions.

Are you running the "T" train?  If you are unsure, please post the output to the following command:

1.  sh version; and

2.  sh log
