LACP

Hello,

LACP or PAGP will only work if both the link connected in same switch like below pic

but if we rent the link from provider so the topology will be like this, will the LACP or PAGP still work (with assumption we don't know what devices used in provider side)?

I will add a little to what @Joseph W. Doherty says in that it will work if the providers are offering an Ethernet Private Line service which is characterized by being a port-based service that transports virtually all tagged, untagged, and L2 Control Protocol (eg, LACP & PAgP) traffic end-to-end. An EPL implemented over dark fiber or a wavelength over dark fiber will certainly work. If the EPL is implemented over active Ethernet, then confirm with the providers that their services will tunnel your L2CP end-to-end. Cisco often refers to carrying L2CP from local CE to remote CE as L2 Protocol Tunneling.

Disclaimers: I am long in CSCO. Bad answers are my own fault as they are not AI generated.

That should work if the two provider paths appear as just two like (L2) links.  Wouldn't even need to be the same provider.

One thing that might muck it up, somewhat, if there was a significant latency delta between the two paths.

Yes two providers using L2 link. Thanks for your reply
