I have an older 6509 with a Sup-720/MSF3 engine running 12.2(18)SXE3
I want to upgrade it to 12.2(33)SXH5 and need to install the compact flash adapter and a compact flash card so that I have enough memory for the code.
The instructions in the CF adapter install states to download the latest SP ROMMON, which they say is c6ksup3-rm2.srec.8.4.2.
My ROMMON version is 7.7(1) so I definitely need to upgrade it. However, when I go to the Cisco download area, I don't find any 8.x.x code, I only find 12.2(17r)SX7 (c6msfc3-rm2.srec.122-17r.SX7)
Will this ROMMON code work for me? Did I end up in the wrong software download area, and is there another download area that has 8.4.2 or later code?

Then
click on IOS Rommon software
the latest is
c6msfc3-rm2.srec.122-17r.SX7

When did they switch ROMMON code from 8.x(x) train to 12.2(17r) train? That is a major renumbering effort.

it has been a while, because there are SX5 and SX6 before SX7 came out
