Layer 2 extension

Hi,

Have two separate DCs, and need to connect them to extend L2 domains for VMotion.

The connection is DWDM and both sites will have two 3850s in Stack mode.

My question is which is the best approach to extend L2 across with this setup?

1. The connection between DCs is already L1,  but I want to filter STP to avoid issues with TCNs.

2. AnyCast HSRP?

Any advise is appreciated!

Depends how you want to design, Generally most of the use cases are OTV/ between DCI.

I have 3850s in stackat the edge, do they support OTV?
