Dear All,
I need a L2 switch with dual AC power supply and RJ45 uplink
The optin I got was WS-C3560X-48T-L + C3KX-PWR-350WAC , but the problem is with uplink . There is no RJ45 1G uplink , there is only option for SFP uplink
The another option was WS-C2960G-48TC-L , but there is no dual AC power supply option
Could you please suggest a good model ( Dual AC power supply , RJ 45 uplink ports (Gig) , with 48 port 100/1000 UTP)
Regards
Haris P

The 4948 switch will meet your requirements:

You can use the 3560X you already found and either use one of the base unit's 48 ports as the uplink or, if you are really really wanting to use the network module for expansion, use a GLC-T= (1000BASE-T SFP transceiver module for copper connections). It will work fine in a non-SFP+ network module port (e.g., any of the ports on the 1GbE module) for the uplink.
Reference the 3560X data sheet.
You could also use one of the older switches (e.g. a 'plain' 3750) in conjunction with an RPS (Redundant Power Supply) 2300. Here is more info on that.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the useful answers .
I will purchase some GLC-T transceiver module in case i want to connect copper uplink. Cisco 3560x with LAN base image seems to be cheaper than 4948 and i will go for it now .
Thanks once again
