MAC Based Security

I'd like to set up multiple workstations (Certain ones) to connect to particular switch ports. Can someone point me to some Documentation on how to set up a Pool using MAC Based Security?

The switch is a Cisco 3548XL

That's for a 3550.

To the OP: The port security feature set on the 3548 is rather limited. Here's the (short) section in the config guide:
