Manual Pruning not Working

Hi,, I was trying to do manual pruning in the Inter-VLAN Routing.

So i wanted only VLAN A and VLAN B communicating with each other and VLAN C not be accessible from VLANs A and B.

But after removing VLAN C from the trunk links of VLAN A and B also removed the VLAN A and B from VLAN C's trunk link still i am able to ping from VLAN A and B to VLAN C and vice versa.

Is there any reason that why pruning is not working here?

Pruning has no effect on routing, only on VLAN propagation between switches.

If you want to control inter-vlan routing use ACL on your VLAN interfaces.

Yeah, I have already used ACL to restrict the traffic but wasn't understanding the logic.

Anyway Thanks for confirming this.

No problem, post your config and we can comment if you feel to.
