What can I do if the *power inline port 2-event* command is missing on the Cisco 3560? The latest version of IOS is installed. On other switches 9300, 3860 it works and there are no problems.
I connect a third-party device and PoE does not work. This issue only occurs with Cisco devices. There are no problems with HP. Technical support for the third-party device recommended enabling the *power inline port 2-event* function. This helped, but the 3560 device does not have this command.

That's the limit of the firmware for classic IOS (which the 3560X/3750X uses).
It is to "encourage" holdouts to buying newer gear.
