A colleague has asked me what SW supports NAT on the 4510R (SUP5), and the SW advisor is currently not listing ANY features at all! He has apparently tried to configure it, and it does not recognise the command.
I would have expected NAT support to be pretty widespread - can anyone confirm what feature sets should support NAT.

Paul,
NAT is not supported on the 4500 Switches. Please refer the below URL that lists the Network Address Translation Catalyst Switch Support Matrix
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/473/166.html#topic1
Also, if you want to do large number of NAT, then also look at Firewall Services Module in the Catalyst 6500.
I hope it helps.

Hi Paul
As far as i know the 6500 is the only switch that supports NAT. Yes i know it is a bit of pain. So if you want to do NAT you need to purchase either a 6500 or install a router in the path.
Neither solution is great !

Thanks Jon - bit of an omission in function there!
