JeremieBelpois

Level 1

I am trying to configuration the FC feature on my Nexus 5672UP, everything seem okay but after zoneset activated, nothing happend, server and SAN controller did not see each other.

My step:
- Enable FCoE feature

- Change unified port range to type FC

- Reload chassis

- Plug port from SAN and Server HBA

- Config zone and assgin the members as pwwn of SAN and Server HBA

- Add zone to zoneset and activated zoneset

Did I miss something ?

I am not sure if this needs a license or not , -> check Table 16

ENTERPRISE_PKG

High level those steps should work - now time for troubleshopot and post the outcome here to understand the issue :

Along with relavant port config should helpfull.

 - (Also) Check the logs when activating or trying to use an FC-port. check if anything comes up. Review current software version installed on the 5672 , use an advisory release :

           https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286221337/type/282088129/release/7.3(8)N1(1)

Check if problems remain after that.
