Nexus 5K ldap support

I have version ns-os 7.X (and v 5.x) and trying to enable the ldap feature. It is listed as disabled in the feature but when I try to enable it "feature ldap" , it does not exist. Documenation says there are no special license requirements to enable ldap.

Any idea what is going on?

yes it doesn't work on my System version: 7.0(6)N1(1) either
I don't think its live because when you do below its not an option to enable even though its in show feature
It works fine on my 7ks no issue enable staright away

I was informed that it is code inherited from N7K.

It is there in N5K, but not supported.

Yes ive had that with ios-xr features too there in ios-xe software too but you cant use them
