I'm just getting back on Nexus. I have inherited several 5k and 7K, some have the mgmt0 interface set along with an associated ACL, some only have VTY set, some have both.. What is the difference ? I need to start running compliance checks and I want to make sure I'm looking for the right thing.
Thanks ahead of time

The Nexus series switches have an out-of-band management port (mgmt0). You can connect this port to a different switch and use it to connect to the device for management. You can also mange the switch in-band (without using mgmt0) interface.

Note that mgmt0 on Nexus switches also uses a separate routing instance - the management VRF.
