Hi group,
anyone has experience with the install all no-reload option on nx-OS ?
Is it correct that the image is extracted and saved without the disruptive reboot ? I would like to use it to prepare all my switches with new software and then reboot them later during a maintenance slot.
Would this be a good idea ?
Thanks for your adivse.

Hi,
-
no-reload—Exits the software upgrade process before the device is reloaded.
-
non-disruptive—Performs an in-service software upgrade (ISSU) to prevent the disruption of data traffic. (By default, the software upgrade process is disruptive.)
- So, I would do the entire process in a maintenance window.

I have done the upgrades: with the no reload option you save time: the compatibility check is done + the new image is set as bootimage. It does save some time but if for some reason you lose power the switch will reboot with the new image (which could be good :-) )

Good to know the upgrade went well for you.
Good Luck!
